Hides of Excellence collection of light exotic tone genuine cowhide rugs are as exquisite in natural beauty and charm as they are in versatility and durability.
This collection of hides are regular in size, meaning they vary between 3 to 4 square metres, or 2.0m x 2.1m
Made from the finest quality Brazilian animal hide, these hard wearing floor coverings are ideal for high traffic zones such as an entrance or living area in the home or an office or retail space. The hair on hide is silky soft to the touch with unique brandings and markings which are hallmarks of natural beauty.
Like all our hides, all of our cow hides are ethically sourced animal by-product which are tanned and processed under strict environmentally friendly conditions free from harmful chemicals. They are also hypoallergenic and easy to clean which makes them highly sort-after for interior styling.
Each hide is one of a kind. You may select the exact hide you would like to receive with your order by indicating in the check box the corresponding number you see in the top left corner of the desired hide. The hides shown are available for immediate fast delivery.

To prolong your enjoyment of our products we recommend the following care for preservation:
• Attend to any soiling as soon as possible by spot cleaning with a fresh soft damp wet water cloth. Scrape off any soiling with the back of a knife.
• Avoid excessive rubbing.Where possible, simply shake away any dirt or debris, or if necessary, use a vacuum on a gentle setting and avoid using a rotating head that may tangle the hair.
• Always line dry in the shade.Colour dyes on natural fibres are not 100% colour fast. Hence, we recommend keeping our dyed products out of any direct sunlight as the UV rays may cause discolouration over time.
• Note also colour transfer may occur on light fabrics.
• Do not place our products on direct heat sources such as heated floors. The heat will dry the natural leather hide backing which can cause it to crack and snap away the hair.
